Pause Dining Chair

Designed by Timothée Mion, this chair draws its inspiration from the universally recognized “pause” symbol, reflected in the parallel vertical bars that define its silhouette. At the heart of Pause’s design is an appreciation for material honesty and craftsmanship. Solid steel bars form the structural framework, and their weight and presence are both grounding and sculptural. These elements, finished in polished chrome or matte black, bring a modern edge, while rounded oak components provide warmth and texture. The wood, treated with an open-pore finish in natural or black, celebrates its grain and tactile qualities.
