Fork Bench

The Fork Bench is part of the Briccole Limited Series – derived from the language of gondolas, soft organic forms stretched into points connected by the contrasting geometric severity of connecting beams. The result of enhancing the form becomes one blob-like shape, pulled and stretched to create a backrest while another is extended to become a table surface. The special Briccole wood from which this piece is both imagined and created further signifies and connects history + design.
