Arak Chandelier

Jacob Marks teamed up with American porcelain artist, Mimi Logothetis, in the development of Skram’s Arak Lighting Series.  The translucent, beautifully inconsistent quality of Logothetis’ hand-forming techniques, along with the artist’s application of distinctive surface treatments and graphics, was the focus of the exploration.  In the final products, Logothetis’ perfectly imperfect cylindrical forms glow–delicate and graceful–upon Marks’ thoughtfully designed, carefully proportioned bronze and aluminum armature to striking effect. Individually hand-formed, translucent porcelain diffusers with four decorative options:  graphics, patches, naked, textured.  machined aluminum arms in blackened or clear finish. Available in chandelier, pendant and floor-lamp styles.
