OUR PROJECTS
We set out to create an architecturally modern + relaxing vacation home that easily transitions from usable indoor space to outdoor space. The home is 8500 square feet with six bedrooms and 6.5 baths. The house offers two-first floor master suites, two guest bedrooms and outdoor spaces ideal for entertaining on a whim. What vacation home would be complete without a covered outdoor terrace, outdoor kitchen, fireplace lounge and two private outdoor showers? The clients desired a luxury retreat where they could escape the frenetic pace of New York City. Adhering to client direction we created a minimal sleek feel while maintaining comfortable laid back settings. This was achieved by the use of soft, luxurious fabrics in neutral tones in addition to natural woods. The client specifically wanted to keep a stark white vibrant backdrop to all the rooms to accentuate the modern open format of the interior architecture. Outdoor areas were also made to be comfortable and loungy (an extension of the interior) with the use of innovative outdoor fabrics and teak accents wherever possible.
