We have been big fans of the whole Rough Luxe movement since it began – a study in contradictions, an attempt to reconcile the old with the contemporary, the accumulated with the newly acquired, the decrepit with the pristine. It is artful dissonance. Industrial Chic is an extension of that expression and design concept, which much like the RL movement celebrates the imperfect, beaten, weathered and used. It takes these roots and revitalizes them with a juxtaposition of luxe fabrics, polished metals and new materials breathing new life into an already solid foundation – the result is an impressive and visually captivating aesthetic that we like to call Industrial Chic.
