The Marfa coffee table serves as a sculptural centerpiece that combines robust materials with a sense of visual lightness through its carefully balanced forms. Designed by Anthony Guerrée, the Marfa table pays tribute to the work of Donald Judd, particularly his iconic use of minimal, repeated shapes to explore volume and negative space. Its name references Marfa, Texas, a remote desert town where Judd relocated in 1971 and established a lasting center for minimalist art. The Marfa coffee table features a base made of large, intersecting aluminum beams arranged diagonally. This complex yet stable base contrasts beautifully with the softness and fluidity of the blurred glass top.
