MAKI PLATFORM BED

Designed by Simone Bonanni for Carpanese Home, the Maki bed is a striking sculpture that contrasts the softness of its padded components with the precise geometry of its wooden elements. The fabric-covered headboard and bed frame are complemented by a solid wood base, which elegantly elevates the entire structure off the ground. The padded base is slightly wider than both the mattress and headboard, and the extended perimeter frame redefines the space dedicated to rest. This blend of elements, materials, and finishes reflects the designer’s approach, which emphasizes graphic synthesis and the stylization of pure forms.
