The Gesto Marble Chair, designed by Claudia Campone, explores the idea of movement translated into solid form—where marble, typically associated with permanence, is shaped to evoke fluidity and gesture. Carved entirely from a single block of stone, the chair reveals a continuous, flowing silhouette—defined by soft curves, precise cuts, and an almost calligraphic sense of motion. Rather than imposing rigid geometry, the form feels intuitive and evolving, as though the material has been guided rather than controlled. Its sculptural presence is balanced by a refined sense of proportion—inviting interaction while maintaining the authority of a monolithic object. The natural veining and tonal variation of the marble remain fully visible, reinforcing the dialogue between raw material and refined design. At once expressive and restrained, Gesto exists as both seating and sculpture—an object that introduces rhythm, movement, and a subtle emotional quality into the space.
*Each piece is inherently unique, shaped by the character and composition of the stone.
