LINDER STERLING Linderama 2014 – Linder Sterling—iconic artist of the punk and post-punk Manchester scene—is celebrated for her radical collages and photomontages that dismantle and reassemble mass-media imagery to expose cultural constructions around gender, sexuality, and domesticity. A pioneering feminist voice, her work merges the familiar with the unsettling, transforming glossy-magazine iconography into sharp social critique. For Henzel Studio, Linder reinterprets her piece Linderama, adding a cutout silhouette and silk-enhanced lips to heighten the tactile, collage-driven effect. Her work is represented in major institutions including MoMA, Tate Britain, Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
