Steel Wall Clock

An extension of the Steel Panel Series the Steel Wall Clock by Stefan Rurak is an impressive clock made from steel that is laminated to a walnut-ply core. The steel is spotheated with a blow-torch and then painted with a range of black-oxides to bring a warm, vibrating depth to a usually cold material. The high-torque clock motor runs on a single AA battery and adjusts to daylight savings time in the US.
